PORTLAND UNITED 4 STURMINSTER MARSHALL 2
 Beaten finalists last season Portland United started this seasons campaign well with a 4-2 victory over their visitors from Sturminster Marshall. The Islanders took the lead as early as the 5th minute with a goal from Lewis Whyton then on the half hour Sturminster Marshall brought the score level only for Ross Doige to convert a penalty just before the break to restore Portland's lead. 10 minutes into the second half Portland added to their lead with a goal from Alex Halloran. Sturminster rallied and scored again in the 72nd minute. The final goal of the game belonged to Portland when Adam Linaker netted in the 75th minute.

WINCANTON TOWN 1 POOLE BOROUGH 0
 Wincanton Town belied their League form and gained a single goal victory over their visitors from Poole Borough with their goal coming in the 25 minute through Jon Vance.

 HAMWORTHY RECREATION 4 HOLT UNITED 2
 Cup holders Hamworthy Recreation opened their defence with a 4-2 win against Holt United. Two goals in the first 30 minutes from Dominic Allen gave Hamworthy a good start and they added a third just before the interval through Chris O’Connor and a fourth came five minutes after the break from Dan Manuel. Holt staged a late revival but were only able to score twice through strikes from Dave Perry and Darren Facer.

 Blandford United won for the first time this season when they defeated their host Swanage Town & Herston by 2 goals to 0.

GILLINGHAM TOWN 1 STURMINSTER NEWTON UNITED 0
 Gillingham Town won the North Dorset Derby against their visitors from Sturminster Newton United by the only goal of the game scored by Jon Delahay one minute before half time.

COBHAM SPORTS 1 BRIDPORT RESERVES 1
 Cobham Sports and Bridport shared two goals and the points a closely contested encounter at Merley Park.

CRANBORNE 1 WESTLAND SPORTS 3
 Westland Sports started their Cup fixtures taking the points against their hosts Cranborne with their goals coming from Mike Rousell with a brace and one from Ian Harris. Oliver Hepworth scored the Cranborne consolation goal.
